In addition to the main DEF CON tracks, several of the Villages have a full-blown speaker track of their own, full of good stuff specific to their area of focus. Still, you’ll want to try and catch them live if you can, because we’ll also be hosting real-time Q&A sessions with speakers on our Discord channel at the same time as the talks (again, following the schedule below). If there is a contest, event, village, etc. and many people leading well-run things do a great job of informing infobooth goons when their schedules change, but sometimes there are communication failures. The tournament will have a Swiss-system format, with a fixed number of rounds. The InfoBooth Goons try really hard to always get the most up-to-date schedules for contests, events, villages, etc. The games will have a blitz time control of 5 minutes on each player’s clock, for a maximum total game time of 10 minutes. There was also another copy of a schedule annually assembled and converted by qumqats in the past, with downloadable copies of text documents or markup documents which allowed for text without execution programs.
